Privacy policy
grantsolar collects an enquiry so it can be shared with relevant solar installers covering your part of Ireland. This notice describes what we collect and why. It should still be reviewed by the business before the site is used with real customers.
Who we are
grantsolar is the service named on this website. A dedicated privacy contact will appear here once business contact details are configured for the live site.
What we collect
If you submit the form, we collect your name, email, phone number, Eircode, county, which qualifying payment you selected (or that you selected none), the consent you give, and campaign labels such as UTM parameters when they are present in the link you used.
The payment category is collected so an installer can see which published grant may be relevant. It is not an application to SEAI, and it is shared only if you consent.
Why
The enquiry is collected to record the home's county, the qualifying payment you selected, and to introduce you to relevant installers when you ask us to. Marketing email is separate. That box is optional, and it is not ticked for you.
Who receives it
With your consent, the enquiry can be shared with relevant solar installers for your area, including the payment category you selected. grantsolar does not promise that only one installer will receive it. In local development, the enquiry is stored on the machine running the site and is not sent to an installer.
What we do not do
We do not sell the form as a roof survey. We do not send your contact details or Eircode to Google Analytics. Google Analytics loads on each visit and records page views. The optional Meta Pixel, if a real ID is configured, loads only after you allow analytics cookies.
How long it is kept
Once a production lead destination is configured, enquiry data is intended to be retained for up to 12 months unless a longer period is required for a related enquiry or legal obligation. In local development, enquiries stay in a local file on the computer running the site.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the enquiry we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where that is appropriate. Use the contact details above when they are published for the live service.
